The MAD EXPLORER is the ultimate New Zealand freedom camping campervan, designed for comfort and convenience. It features a permanently made-up large double bed, separate dining and sleeping areas, a fully equipped kitchen, hot and cold water tap, and ample off-grid power with a large battery, solar panels, and a powerful inverter. Additional comforts include LED lighting, USB ports, TV, mosquito net curtains, outdoor rinse hose, keyless entry, and advanced security systems, making it perfect for exploring NZ’s outdoors with ease and style. A Road User Charge Recovery Fee applies to all diesel vehicles and is payable upon vehicle return. The fee will be calculated on return of the camper based on the kilometres travelled during the hire. Mad Campers reserves the right to amend the Road User Charge Recovery Fee in response to changes in Government Road User Charges. Please note that this charge is different to the mileage included with your booking.
